Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute procedures to convert client data in various environments (i.e. SQL)
  • Learn, use, and maintain an established set of internal tools and other technologies as necessary
  • Collaborate with implementation staff and clients to develop data conversion procedures that meet client business rules
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify data patterns and anomalies
  • Perform intermediate troubleshooting of conversion logic
  • Perform data verification and balancing of values between old and new systems
  • Stay current with technologies and current database concepts
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or relevant equivalent to work experience
  • Ability to work well within a deadline-oriented development structure
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong technical abilities and desire to learn new things
  • Strong attention to detail and analytic thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and customer service
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL
  • Ability to work in Windows and work with all our remote access tools
  • Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of database structures: how to create databases, import and export data in and out of a database (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
