Door Manufacturing Tech

Looking for Door Production Specialists at a local company that makes interior and exterior doors. This position is temp-to-hire with weekly pay and is in Saco, ME.

1st shift - Monday – Friday – 6 am – 2:30 pm - $20.00/hour

Overtime is available!

Job Duties and responsibilities:

Operating machines to help with attaching the casing to the doors.

Working with a partner to inspect each door for dents, splits, or cracks.

Place each door into a plastic bag with your partner then put cardboard sides.

Roll the door through the strapping machine to secure the cardboard around the door.

Work together to remove the doors from the rollers and move onto the next door.

Help in the finishing department by attaching incase windows by attaching them to the doors.

Ideal candidate:

Read a tape measure (required).

Construction knowledge

Carpentry skills (a plus)

Knowledge of basic hand tools, cordless drills, screw guns, staple guns.

Work well with others to keep productivity goals up.

Willingness to learn the complete process of making the doors.
