Electrical Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)

FULL-TIME

$30/hr

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Assisting the Purchasing Manager and Shipping Lead with day to day functions and training to be a back up to both position.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

All shipping administrative duties such as prepare documents for shipping, maintain shipping records, document all actions in manufacturing systems, process bills of lading, general file maintenance, organizing delivery appointments and scheduling.

Review documentation for completeness of deliveries and ensure that any short or inaccurate deliveries are documented and followed up.

Maintain clean and orderly work area and ensure that all interfaces with the company are treated to a high level of customer service.

Assisting with customer shipments to ensure order integrity and accuracy.

Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, scanning and filing.

Assists in preparing reports as required for internal or external monitoring purposes.

Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers and ensures that all personnel do the same.

Actively assists in continuous improvement activities and offers positive suggestions for improvements and innovations.

Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures and instructions.

Performs other duties assigned by Shipping Lead.

Assist and learn all Purchasing Activities.

Provide assistance to the Purchasing Manager

15. Willing to work flexible hours as necessary.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS:

Shipping or Purchasing experience preferred

Computer skills a must

Able to work independently

Communication Skills

Schedule

Shift start: 3:00PM Shift length: 8 hours Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings required
