Staff member in this position needs to have a thorough understanding of supply chain with an emphasis on Materials Management. Strong experience with analytical tools and methods and reporting systems. The ability to provide the highest quality of customer service.Responsibilities: Collaborate with Materials and staff in support of operational policies to attain organizational and system goals. Participate in Value Analysis CQVA process to ensure effective product transitions throughout NL EMMC and the NLH System. o Work through Change/Adds/Deletions as needed throughout the process to minimize the loss of existing product during Contract changes, etc. Ensure confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information within areas of responsibility. Analysis of backorders: Work with Clinical Staff, Value Analysis, Supply Chain Analytics, Purchasing, and Materials Management on resolution of backorders and addition/use of substitutions. Expedite orders as needed to ensure that staff has the required supplies due to a variety of issue resolutions. Analyze PAR levels based on pre-determined criteria. Share information with staff that control PAR locations to ensure the correct balance of supplies. Work through recall communication, with Director oversight, to ensure that recalls are documented/processed timely and communicated to vendors appropriately. Assist staff with label maintenance as needed. Work with Inventory staff to ensure that cycle counts, and annual counts are done as required. Assists staff in decision making for stock on floors/units/areas based on order history information. Develops and supports process for sharing information across the organization. Drives and manages change associated with standardization, utilization, and use of technology to affect cost savings and increases to effectiveness and customer service. Tracks and prepares financial savings information including cost avoidance dollars. Tracks expired product information for utilization of system efficiencies.
