Robert Half is looking for an organized Network Administrator to join the efforts of a prominent firm in the Education - University field. If you are success-driven, an organized problem solver, and passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, this job may be for you. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You will work with software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems that change frequently. It will be crucial for you to stay current and fully informed through ongoing education. This Network Administrator role, located in the Biddeford, Maine, area is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.Key responsibilities- Administering control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam- Upgrading network software and hardware- Adhering to company policies and procedures to administer the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services- Analyzing and fixing local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network issues Requirements - 5+ years of related experience- Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues- Adeptness in Cisco Routers- Practical knowledge of DNS- General familiarity with Cisco VPN- Comprehensive knowledge of Apache HTTP Server- Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco Technologies- Cisco Networking experience- Cisco Hardware experience- Command of Meraki- Earlier work involving Apache Tomcat- AWS Technologies experience highly preferred- Cisco Firewall experience- Background working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)- Previous experience with production and on-call environments- Expertise in network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
