QC Technologist I

As a QC Technologist I at LGC, you will a key role in ensuring the success of our products and customers.  You will follow standardized procedures and prepares samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. This role relies on limited independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required.Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Operation of automated clinical analyzersOccasional data entry as well as assessment and interpretation of resultsTesting production and research & development samples and assessing testing resultsTeam responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Focus on customer serviceProblem solving, including ability to reprioritize and adjust workload as neededWorking with Production and R&D personnel to ensure efficient use of reagents and analyzersAble to evaluate processes for inefficiencies and suggest improvementsAttention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a team
