Position Summary:Responsibilities include: Utilize all radiographic equipment to perform x-rays, including (but not limited to) surgical and portable equipment. CT technologists, operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Ability to utilize Vitrea 3D post processing workstation. Ability to operate power injector. Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation. General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function. Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques-ALARA, shielding and knowledge of exposure factors. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and hospital records.
