Senior Backend Developer (Python/AWS)

As a Senior Backend Developer (Python/AWS), you will be responsible for the design, development, and operational support of backend systems and APIs in a global cloud environment. You will combine strong backend engineering skills with DevOps practices, ensuring that AWS-based services and integrations are scalable, secure, and efficient. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end, from infrastructure to code to production support.What you will be doing:Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.Develop and deploy AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), covering services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, MWAA, Glue, and API Gateway.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, ensuring high system availability and reliability.Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and backlog refinement.Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team.
