SSIS Developer

Opportunity: 6 Month Contract to Hire Location: Remote

This position will be joining the development team supporting various state and local government clients at a critical point in the organization's growth. We are looking for a SSIS Developer with exposure to C# to join our large-scale project. Your position will be focused on creating SSIS packages that involves migration from legacy systems to centralized Database, migrating classic ASP applications into ASP.NET MVC applications, and create and consume WCF Services within the network.

What we are looking for:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field or related experience
  • 3+ years with data transformations using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) via the implemented
  • Expertise in Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data from Excel, Flat file, to MS SQL Server by using DTS and SSIS services
  • enhancements for better performance
  • Relevant software design and development experience with C# preferred
  • Understanding of SOA, WCF, IIS, Entity Framework in C#, and Data Access Layer
  • Ability to analyze functional and business requirements
  • Ability to translate use cases using standard modeling into working code
  • Experience with optimizing and tuning queries
  • Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Immediate authorization to work in the US
Required Experience:

  • 3+ Years of experience
  • SSIS experience
  • SQL experience
  • Some Exposure / Knowledge with C#
