Superintendent / Foreman

Resource Options is seeking a Working Superintendent for a project in Thomaston, ME. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who can effectively manage commercial job sites while performing skilled carpentry and construction work. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction practices from foundation to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations on the job site to ensure timely and high-quality completion of work.

Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Perform skilled carpentry tasks, including framing, trim work, and general building tasks as needed.

Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.

Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and professional communication.

Report to and coordinate regularly with the General Contractor or Project Manager regarding project progress and needs.

Monitor site safety and ensure all workers adhere to company and OSHA safety standards.

Manage material orders and inventory for the site.
