The VP is responsible for establishing and advancing clinical philosophies and quality of care. This position will also maintain regulatory readiness and emergency preparedness in line with Northern Light Health system, CMS Conditions of Participation and the Joint Commission standards.Responsibilities:
Leads initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, reduce variability in care delivery, and advance evidence-based practices.
Identifies and designs educational activities to address practice gaps for identified target audiences, which includes licensed and non-licensed personnel.
Oversees the evaluation and enhancement of inpatient and outpatient clinical programming and service quality.
Engages in strategic planning within the clinical education areas of responsibility (that may include technology advancements) by embracing and driving meaningful change, identifying, and addressing barriers to change, assists in the development, resource utilization and implementation of change strategies by educating/supporting staff, and monitors sustainability of change.
Promotes high-performing teams and a culture of innovation within the hospital, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and practices that improve care delivery.
Oversees the evaluation and enhancement of inpatient and outpatient clinical programming and service quality.
Ensures that clinical strategies and operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines.
