RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Architect (AWS) in Rockville, MD.
Key Responsibilities: Application Architect will build data marts and data warehouses leveraging modern best practices Manage data lakes and work with analytics tools to process large amounts of data Collaborate with App Architects to ensure seamless integration between data management and application systemsREQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience as an Architect, with career foundations in Software Development (ideally Java) Experienced in environments that process large amounts of data (currently process 10m records in 4 hours) Deep expertise in AWS deployments, containerization, and orchestration using services such as Amazon EKS and Amazon ECS (experience with Kubernetes, Fargate, etc.) Knowledge of data storage technologies such as Amazon S3, MongoDB, and DynamoDB Experience working with data scientists, ML engineers, Java developers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy applicationsNice to have: Apache Metastore Understanding of Text AnalyticsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
