Overview

The Squires Group has an exciting opportunity for an

Application Security Specialist to support a Federal project in

Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, your responsibilities include designing, building, integrating, and operating of security architecture components. You will work closely with the infrastructure architecture, development architecture, technical operations, and development teams to ensure changes are well designed and coordinated across the enterprise. This is in the beginning phase of a MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT! Don't miss this opportunity to work on a Federal Project in support of a U.S. Homeland Security Mission.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be

U.S. Citizens, clearable to the Secret Level. An existing Interim or Active Secret Clearance is a bonus!

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
3+ years of experience managing vulnerability management systems and/or scanning technologies
Experience with two or more of following Security Tools: Nessus, Appscan, DB Protect, Venafi, and BURP
Extensive knowledge in information security and security frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AIX, RedHat Linux, Agile
