Job Title: Autism Program Director

Location: Bowie/Owings mills

Employment Type: Part-time 10pm – 7pm

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to lead our Autism Program. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing Autism program and the therapeutic services, designing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring effective family engagement and program implementation tailored to children and youth on the autism spectrum.

Key Responsibilities of a Director of Autism Services:

Conduct client intakes and initial assessments

Develop and update individualized treatment plans

Perform ongoing clinical assessments to evaluate progress

Provide family consultations and support services

Develop and implement appropriate therapeutic program activities

Oversee and ensure the safety and effectiveness of all program components

Supervise and collaborate with staff to maintain high-quality service delivery

Program Development and Management:

Creating, implementing, and overseeing programs that cater to the diverse needs of individuals with ASD.

Staff Supervision:

Leading and managing a team of professionals, including therapists, educators, and support staff.

Budget Management:

Overseeing the financial aspects of the program, including allocating resources and managing expenses.

Quality Assurance:

Ensuring that services are delivered effectively and meet established standards of care.

Policy Development:

Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to autism services.

Collaboration and Communication:

Working with various stakeholders, including families, educators, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.

Advocacy:

Promoting awareness and understanding of ASD and advocating for the needs of individuals with ASD.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in the field of autism

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in autism or behavioral intervention programs

Licensure as a Psychologist, Certified Social Worker (LCSW-C), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
