Automotive Painter

Auto Body Painter Responsibilities:

Paint surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment, power tools, and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques

Inspect panels to be painted for body repair, prepping and/or buffing

Mix to specified color using standard formulas or color charts

Sand, mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas

Retouch paint as necessary

Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Auto Body Painter Requirements:

Experience in Auto painting

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

I-Car Certification a plus

Reporting to the Auto Body Shop Manager, you will leverage your core skills in mechanical knowledge and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal results. Your premium skills in dealership experience and welding will enhance your capabilities, while relevant skills in customer service and auto estimating will support a positive client experience.
