BI Engineer
Key Required Skills: PostgreSQL / Greenplum database and working on data pipeline for non-relational data structure [NoSQL data model such as JSON on MongoDB, HBASE]; ETL Tools, SQL; BI Development, Data Analysis The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the DADQB on the following:- Working with OLTP/data warehouse modeling, and play a key role in multiple projects, and acting as a knowledge expert (Technical, Functional).
- Collaborate with Solution & Enterprise Architects, Business analysts, DBAs, and others to understand
- Support complex discussions and engagements that may involve multiple project teams from clients.
- Able to work independently with BA and PM to gather requirements, perform data discovery, come up with data models, and work with developers to design and implement ETL solutions.
- Work with ETL methodologies for supporting data extraction, transformations, and loading processing, in a corporate-wide-ETL Solution.
- Working on data pipeline solution on a large database environment (e.g. Greenplum/PostgreSQL). o Data analysis, problem-solving.
- Some Experience in PostgreSQL / Greenplum database and working on data pipelines for non-relational data structure, NoSQL data models such as JSON on MongoDB, HBASE, Hive is a plus.
- Knowledge regarding BI Development, ETL Tools, SQL
- Some Data Analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Some experience working in large-scale cloud database environments is a plus.
- Some experience working on data pipelines for non-relational data structures, NoSQL data models such as JSON on MongoDB, HBASE, Hive is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to convey complex topics through effective documentation as well as presentation.
- Familiar with machine learning and advanced analytic application development.
- Some ability to create dashboards in Tableau or Web focus using various sources like databases, CSV files, XL spreadsheets, etc.
- Associates degree and 3+ years of experience in a training-related field or HS/GED degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
