Process Analyst Job Description Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the business owners to identify and analyze core business processes and workflows
- Facilitating workshops with SME's
- Meeting with functional managers to assess existing processes
- Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
- Communicates findings and proposals to upper management.
- Designing and testing process upgrades and new process systems
- Ensuring processes comply with policies and quality standards
- Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues
- Performing optimization tests and risk assessments
- Documentation of process and workflows
- Development of clear and detailed process maps and business requirements
- Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality
- Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process
- Utilizes process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategies.
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes
- At least 5 years of experience as a Process Analyst, on large and complex projects
- Strong skills in Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows
- Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups
- Strong business/client engagement skills
- Experience developing business requirements
- Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
- High level of competence with MS Office and MS Visio
- Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
- Knowledge of process engineering software systems
