Job Description:

C# .NET Applications Developer (Grade 20D)

Job SummaryThe Application Developer will be part of a team that is responsible for developing a mission critical application that is used by UPS Operations globally on a daily basis. The application is used to build and schedule daily plans for UPS Package Centers.

This position performs duties and tasks to support full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She performs tasks within planned durations and established deadlines. This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication and support the achievement of objectives. He/She provides development, maintenance, and support for applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with Information Systems projects.
  • Assists in system analysis and design.
  • Designs and develops low to moderately complex applications.
  • Generates application documentation.
  • Supports integration builds.
  • Assists with maintenance and support.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile Development, .NET, C# .NET, Client Server Architecture and SQL Language
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Knowledge of Data Analysis and Technical Analysis
  • Familiarity with agile development methodology
  • Familiarity with how to conduct systems and requirements analyses to identify project action items
  • Understanding of how to raise issues as appropriate to support effective resolutions
  • Ability to contribute to task lists and cost and time estimates to support project plan development
  • Able to monitor assignments to ensure I.S. governance, standards, and policies compliance
  • Debugging and troubleshooting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-building through collaboration skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field - Preferred
