Job DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and skilled Chemical Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Operating a variety of plant equipment including mixers, crystallizers, pumps, dryers, centrifuges, ball mills, filters, cranes, heat exchangers, packaging equipment, calciners, boilers, and kilns.

Ensure the proper operation of processes, performing routine work, making and breaking connections, cleaning and flushing process piping or hoses, and conducting necessary checks using instruments and tools.

The role requires the ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and work platforms, as well as handle containers ranging from 5-gallon pails to 55-gallon drums.

The candidate must be capable of operating electrical and pneumatic tools, working in extreme temperatures, and wearing necessary safety equipment such as respirators and self-contained breathing apparatuses. Qualified candidates may also operate power trucks.

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Baltimore, Maryland.The successful candidate will work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 plant, to include nights, weekends, and some holidays. Schedule Requirements:

Shift rotation: Teams rotate shifts in a four-week cycle, alternating between day and night shifts.

Shift length: Each shift is 12 hours long.

Number of teams: Four teams are used to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Number of shifts per week: The standard schedule results in an average of 42 hours per week, but some weeks may have up to six workdays totaling 72 hours.

Time off: The schedule provides a solid week off each month, but employees must work 72 hours in one week every four weeks.
