Cleaner Industrial/Commercial Building

ATI Performance Products Inc. is currently looking for an experienced, reliable, and responsible custodian to maintain and clean our office areas and manufacturing facility. The right candidate will work to keep our building clean and neat and also do some other minor tasks. This is a full-time permanent position with benefits. The hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. We need someone with reliable transportation who has done this type of work before and takes pride in their work.

This is a direct hire position, and we will not work with an agency. The full-time position comes with insurance; paid holidays; paid sick and vacation days; a 401(k) plan and a profit share plan.

Alternatively, if you’re interested in part-time, the hours would be Monday, Wednesday and Friday with negotiable hours up to 24 hours that would be all cleaning and maintenance.

Description of Duties:

Sweep and mop offices and shop floors, vacuum carpets, dust, wipe, scrub, and polish surfaces and furniture, as necessary. Collect and take out trash from offices and other receptacles in building. Cleaning multiple employee and office bathrooms which includes but not limited to; cleaning toilets, sinks/vanities, mopping floors, restock soap and paper products. Clean other surfaces such as ledges and baseboards, wipe mirrors and windows in offices. Other tasks include maintaining the outside premises by picking up trash and sweeping entrances. Occasional custodial tasks (shoveling snow from front doorway, spreading salt, lifting, and moving chairs, etc.), stocking and cleaning shop coffee stations, and sanitizing of door handles and high traffic areas regularly.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a custodian or in a similar role with a steady work history and references

Knowledge and use of cleaning equipment/solvents

Attention to detail and diligence

Ability to bend, as well as lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to remain standing and/or mobile for work shift of 8-9 hours

Ability to take direction and stay on schedule

VERY reliable with strong time management and regular attendance

Reliable transportation

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

We are conveniently located in a climate controlled, secure facility just minutes off the Baltimore Beltway ( Exit 17 off of 695).
