Compliance & Reporting Analyst Investment Bank Experience We have a new six month plus Compliance & Reporting Analyst opportunity available in Owings Mills, Maryland. Project:This role performs compliance oversight activities for associate communications and associate developed marketing materials to ensure alignment with internal policies. Business partners may be aligned under any Global Distribution segment across the globe, thereby interacting with both retail and institutional/intermediary clients.Top 3 requirements:Strong demonstrated communication skills, proactive and tailored to the audienceAbility to quickly collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyProfessional, proactive and self-motivatedResponsibilities:Compliance oversight/audits:Conducts inspections and audits of associate communications and marketing materials as well as social media interactionsAccesses third party and proprietary platforms to review marketing materials, engages colleagues in research, and identifies when legal/compliance escalation is requiredTimely escalation of issues and thorough documentation are critical.Data tracking/management:Tracks required data from audits, documents findings and progress of remediation stepsEffectively uses Excel spreadsheets, SharePoint, and OneDriveRecommends process improvements that result in more streamlined or reliable processes and output.Documentation:Keeps accurate and complete audit documentation in a timely mannerDrafts new or updates existing policies and proceduresPrepares and distributes reporting of audit results to business and legal/compliance leadership.Training: Support the development and communication of associate training as neededAd-Hoc responsibilities supported as requestedNecessary knowledge and skills:Ability to quickly learn business processes and applicable systems/platforms through one-on-one training and self-study of documented policies, procedures, guidance documents and job aidsCommunicates effectively in a variety of settings and using different media; tailors message and delivery to different audiencesAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlinesAccountable for their own work and effective coordination of process and information with othersWorks independently, within guidelines and policies for ongoing work after receiving general guidanceListens in the context of objectives and asks relevant insightful questionsActively listens and checks for understandingSolid understanding of social media platforms, in particular LinkedInStrong attention to detailSelf-motivated drive for results with assigned projectsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience2+ years of total relevant work experienceThe interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.Please let us know your interest for this position.
