Description:Aston Carter is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist for one of our marketing agency partners. You will play a key role in designing and executing integrated communications plans and will be primarily tasked with the delivery of content to users via blog, email and social media and on any given day will be doing the following: -developing highly effective conent and compelling imagery, messaging and storytelling -creating distribution strategies across online and offline media -collaborating with copywriters, creative director, media director, and other account team to align messaging, amplify and publicize original and curated content -establishing a proactive storytelling communications style that identifies and packages lifestyle stories that support the benefits of life plan communities -ensuring content is optimized for SEO and the digital lead funnel experience -planning the content calendar and post schedule for clients -scheduling and posting blogs and social media posts -creating and scheduling email campaigns -adapting long form content for a multi channel approach (blog, email, social media) -tweaking and changing the 'voice' of the content for different audiences and channels where it will be seen -assisting with content development and strategy for clients and internal marketing efforts -writing and developing content for blogs, email campaigns and social media posts -working with the graphics team to match content with appropriate pictures and graphics -analyzing data from email, blog and social media to inform strategy and content developement -keeping objectives and voice of customer in mind through content creation and deliveryAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required: -Excellent writing skills; command of language, grammar and spelling; dedication to error-free work and communications -Experience with email marketing campaigns (Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.) -Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Basic knowledge of MacOS is helpful -Excellent organizational, communication and people skills Preferred: -Experience with HubSpot, UTM tracking, Constant Contact, Cision, BrightLocal, PageProof and Workamajig a plus -Marketing/advertising agency experience is a plus, but not required -Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related fieldExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Aston Carter: At Aston Carter, we’re dedicated to expanding career opportunities for the skilled professionals who power our business.
