PURPOSE:

We are looking for a Cross Platform Delivery Lead in our Card to Care Value Stream. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing delivery and dependencies of large portfolio epics within multiple product families within one value stream or spanning multiple value streams. As Cross Platform Delivery Lead you will be a People Leader and will have impact across multiple product families spanning the broader value stream. You will collaborate with the Value Stream Lead and other Solution Managers to establish the value stream vision, strategic themes and OKRs. As the Card to Care Value Stream, our goal is to make sure that investments go to the right place to do the right things.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead and empower an agile team to enable productive flow across multiple platforms and groups
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to provide an optimized technical environment for software legacy SDLC and emerging DevOps practices
  • Support value streams in delivering large and complex epics by bringing together impacted parties, align on shared goals
  • Facilitate the bi-weekly VS360 Portfolio Sync Forum across Solution Managers, Solution Architects, and Release Train Engineers
  • Collaborate with value stream leadership to groom features ready for upcoming system demonstrations by Agile Release Trains
  • Provide end to end delivery progress on large complex cross product family epics
  • Manage external dependencies with vendors and suppliers
  • Provide insight and status into incoming dependencies from the rest of the organization
  • Review delivery metrics published by the Agile Release Trains and their teams
  • Participate in Agile Release Train Program Increment Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demonstrations, and Inspect & Adapt Workshop
  • Review progress of enabler epics with solution and system architects

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position manages 15-20 people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's DegreeinComputer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience:5 years Related professional experience AND1 year Supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years Cloud Developer experience.
  • 2 years Mainframe systems experience.
  • 1 year DevOps experience.
  • 1 year Supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership.
  • 2 years Healthcare systems experience.
  • 1 year Azure Cloud experience.
  • Mainframe to Cloud migration experience.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Scaled Agile Framework Scrum Master or Product Owner Upon Hire Preferred
  • Scaled Agile Framework Release Train Engineer Upon Hire Preferred
  • DevOps Certification Upon Hire Preferred

Travel Requirements: 25% to CareFirst Locations.
