Title: Cybersecurity CoachLocation: Silver Spring, MD HQBackground:IBSS has established a cybersecurity workforce development program to provide aspiring cybersecurity professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform a variety of tasks associated with compliance, security architecture, security engineering, and security operations. IBSS is seeking a cybersecurity coach who is attentive, detail-oriented, encouraging, energetic, goal-oriented, knowledgeable, optimistic, patient, and respectful.The ideal cybersecurity coach will exhibit the following attributes.- Enjoys motivating others to excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about cybersecurity
- Relishes the mentor role
- Remains up-to-date with respect to cybersecurity topics and trends
- Understands techniques, technologies, and tools used to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
- Willing to share cybersecurity knowledge with others
As a cybersecurity coach, you will develop lesson plans, facilitate learning activities, develop assessments to gauge the understanding of security concepts. You will also coordinate hands-on cybersecurity lab exercises.Key tasks include the following: - Providing instruction online and in-person.
- Monitoring progress and implementing strategies to improve the probability of passing certification exams.
- Providing weekly participant performance reports to IBSS Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program management.
REQUIREMENTS:- Teaching experience
- Cybersecurity work experience
- Possess at least two of the following certifications
- CAP (Certified Authorization Professional),
- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CPT (Certified Penetration Tester)
