Cybersecurity Network Engineer, SeniorThe Challenge:Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your Cyber engineering skills to design and build secure systems for your DoD clients? We're looking for an experienced cybersecurity engineer who can create solutions that will stand up to even the most advanced Cyber threats.You will design, configure, and implement advanced architecture security solutions in your client's critical mission environments. You'll coordinate work with network and systems engineers and Cybersecurity analysts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. You will help guide teams through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. You'll broaden your skillset into areas like automation and orchestration of security events and zero trust methodologies.You Have:- Experience with architecting and designing networks and security technologies
- Experience with network design, including LAN, WAN, and DMZ
- Experience with cloud management systems, including vCloud Director (vCD) and vCloud Director Availability
- Experience with performing duties supporting customers during product demonstrations, training, and implementations
- Experience with writing and interpreting requirements for the implementation of network security and controls, end-point security, and firewall appliances and systems
- Knowledge of datacenter networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based
- Knowledge of VMware solutions, including Workspace One, vSphere, vCenter, Horizon, vRealize Network, and vCloud Suite
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS Diploma or GED
- Experience with zero trust best practices and methodologies
- Experience with NSX-T deployment
- Experience with DoD networks, programs, and architectures
- Experience with product evaluations and conducting analysis of alternatives based on customer requirements
- Knowledge of hands-on Hypervisor and architecture
- Ability to communicate with network architects and other key stakeholders
- Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation when dealing with ambiguous and fast-paced situations
- Bachelor's degree preferred
