RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Rockville, MD that is seeking a Data Architect.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, the Data Architect will build data marts and data warehouses leveraging modern best practices Manage data lakes and work with analytics tools to process large amounts of data The Data Architect will collaborate with App Architects to ensure seamless integration between data management and application systemsREQUIREMENTS: Deep expertise in data management systems, including both relational and non-relational databases Experienced in environments that process large amounts of data (currently process 10m records in 4 hours) Focus on MongoDB, PostgresSQL, and GLUE within AWS Familiarity with graph databases is helpful Experience with RDBMS for online transaction processing Understanding of Kinesis and Kafka and ability to compare and contrast the strengths of each within the AWS ecosystem Experience building data marts and data warehouses in both traditional and modern ways Familiarity with modern data management tools and data lakes Background in processing architectures for Big Data Ability to collaborate closely with App Architects and other team membersThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
