Job Description

Responsibilities:Responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling IQ’s backend infrastructure deployed on AWS. Experience implementing and integrating various API, micro-services, and databases. Analyzing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices. Automating processes with the right tools. Facilitating development process and operations. Establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the organization. Setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process. Experience migrating applications from legacy to cloud.
  • Design, engineer and implement new cloud technology solutions in line with the product delivery roadmap.
  • Maintain in-depth and up to date knowledge of AWS to ensure all appropriate options are considered to best support business requirements.
  • Act as the function Lead and subject matter expert to drive and resolve all necessary infrastructure needs.
  • Continually looking for ways to configure and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes -designing and developing pipelines to deliver multiple daily releases to production.
  • Working closely with our Development Technical Leads and Service Delivery Manager to optimize delivery and IT operations processes.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day deployment process, testing and configuration of software releases, DevOps pipelines, monitoring tools, and other supporting technologies.
  • Experience creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture
  • Build processes to automate data migration and conversion of code from targeted data sources to cloud based data destinations.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • Implement and integrate various API, micro-services, and database interfaces.
  • Proven expertise deploying and maintaining solutions for large, complex software development projects on cloud-based systems, accounting for scalability, flexibility, performance, and security.
  • Understand networks, firewalls and integrating different systems.
  • Able to quickly write Unix scripts, review logs and identify issues in the AWS infrastructure.
  • Must have ability to multi-task and participate in Agile releases

Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 8+ Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Configuring and administrating DevOps servers (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jenkins, Nexus) running on Linux.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Jenkins and Groovy.
  • Substantial experience and skill in Java and Python.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, or Django.
  • Experience implementing and deploying REST API endpoints.
  • Experience with platforms such as: AWS, Azure, or Cloud Foundry.
  • Distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop and MapReduce.
  • Working experience with database systems such as: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with modern development tools and workflows such as Agile/Sprint/Best Practices, dependency management, build automation, CI/CD, QA testing, Git branching, etc.
  • Experience with large scale software development.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management.
  • Software process automation with popular scripting languages.
  • Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language.
  • Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies.
  • Source, build/release, and configuration management in a continuous integration & delivery environment.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experiences with federal healthcare contracting. Preferable experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.
  • Work closely with software engineers, product designers, product managers and quality engineers to turn requirements and design documents into scalable, elegant production software.
  • Mentor junior engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and conduct insightful code reviews.
  • Architecting overall, comprehensive, and efficient practices.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
  • Should be extremely facts and data oriented. Strong persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills.
