Job Summary/Company:Sparks Group has partnered with an innovative information security company seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. This position is 100% remote; prefer someone who is local to come onsite 1 day/week. Responsibilities:- Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available
- Collaborate with software engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
- Configure/maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code
- Ensure configuration/compliance with configuration management tools
- Administer/troubleshoot Linux based systems
- Build/maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of cloud infrastructure and systems
Qualifications/Background Profile:- Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python or Bash)
- Experience with Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google)
- Work Status: due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
- Clearance Type: active Secret Clearance
