Role:Devops engineer:Location: 100% RemoteDuration:12+ months contract role with the ability to convert to a full time employee if desired.
Qualifications: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the areas/tools listed below: Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration Experience with automation / configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent Strong experience in scripting such as Python, Groovy, Ruby, Perl Ability to use variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required) Working knowledge of continuous integration platform such as Jenkins and various deployment tools Working knowledge of source code repository such as Git (BitBucket), SubversionAdditional Skills and Experience Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience in either software development or administration At least 2 years of experience administering Jenkins for large-scale CI/CD workflow. At least 2 years of experience working with automation or configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Knowledgeable of common scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, Python, Perl, etc. At least 2 years of experience building software in a cloud service such as AWS.
