Responsible for providing senior team members and/or leadership with information about the performance of the business and independently supporting business partners by running various analyses and implementing new policies and practices. Creating analytics and reporting to ensure sound functionality using detective measures. Analyzes trends in issues to determine root cause and presents to RPS leadership for ongoing awareness and escalation, prioritization as needed.
Responsibilities- Provides insight and feedback into the maintenance and enhancement of relevant analytics and reporting systems to monitor digital properties. Recommends, designs, and creates enhancements to reporting systems that can be used as tools in the business prioritization process.
- Provides routine and ad hoc report analytic support and educates functional teams on policies and practices for efficiency and issue resolution.
- Works independently and exercises judgment and discretion in analyzing sophisticated or potentially high impact errors or problems through root cause analysis of operational and Plan processes, practices and all transactions that have a financial impact possibly related to that error set being reviewed.
- Triages, escalates and coordinates through completion errors that are identified across digital properties.
- Applies advanced knowledge of RPS digital properties to identify the point(s) of failure, identifies any exposure, documents findings through utilization of Business Process Improvement (BPI) skills and shares that impact with the Manager and members of senior management.
- Due to the complexity of the issues being addressed by the senior business analyst; meets with Senior Leadership across multiple partner groups to fully analyze the scope of the error(s) and its impact and coordinates resolution steps to bring issues to close. Coordinates issue resolution and 3rd party prioritization as needed with outside firms and vendors (e.g. – FIS, SS&C). Partners with Product managers to prioritize long term resolution of issues identified.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 2+ years of total relevant work experience
- Strong retirement plan services (RPS) business knowledge, specifically in digital properties
- Experience with executive-level presentations, incorporating technical expertise and translation of data into meaningful analysis and potential outcomes and actions
- Proven ability to form and foster strong positive business relationships
- Strong analytics, with a focus on digital analytics, background (Adobe Analytics proficiency helpful)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external vendors
- Strong attention to detail with documentation and follow up on tasks; holding others accountable for deliverables and other commitments
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and make decisions
- Self-motivated and self-directed while possessing experience in successfully working with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to objectively recommend well-reasoned courses of action
- Ability to work independently and with minimal direction
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
