For more than 100 years, our client has been one of Baltimore's premier professional service organizations. They have a rare hiring opportunity for a Director of HR and Administration to manage and oversee staff while performing general Human Resources and Administrative duties. The office is currently in downtown Baltimore but will be relocating to the White Marsh area by year's end. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with onsite presence required three days per week. The team is made up of experts in their industry so the opportunity to learn and grow will be available. Numerous people on their staff have been with the firm for 20+ years. - Serve as an effective Human Resource officer for all employees and be the liaison with the employment law firm
- Administration of book-keeping and corporate finance departments
- Bachelor's Degree
- Exceptional organization and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor with all levels of staff and clients
- Strong computer skills
- Understanding of basic business operations and accounting principles
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities combined with the ability to follow directions and work independently
- Willingness to pursue and acquire firm-sponsored Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance licenses
