Together, we accelerate the discovery, development and delivery of solutions that safeguard and improve human health.This position is part of the Business Unit located in the U.S and will be Purpose statement:The Director Strategic Transformation is responsible for project management of IDT’s Policy Deployment (PD) initiative aimed at maintaining IDT’s position as the partner of choice for custom oligo and enzyme solutions in the genomics market. This role must be adept fostering cross-functional collaboration and organizing to drive action and establishing robust processes and structures in support of top customer accounts. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding our position in top customer accounts relative to our next competitor through organizing our cross functional execution to build operational and innovation agility to keep pace with the needs of the market.Essential Functions:

Develop and execute a comprehensive immediate and short term strategy to grow and support key customer accounts within gene reading and synthetic biology.

Identify Targets To Improve (TTIs) and collaborate with workstream leaders to ensure progress against those targets.

Lead and coordinate efforts across various parts of the business, including Sales, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Operations, Finance, Product Development, and Human Resources to ensure alignment with PD objectives.

Establish clear performance metrics and monitor progress against the KPIs through leading and lagging indicators, as appropriate. Identify and address obstacles to PD success as they arise; coach and facilitate challenges to resolution including engaging internal and external resources or leveraging DBS tools as required.

Prepare and present regular reports on project status to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Facilitate rigorous and intellectually honest debate on topics of impact and demonstrate courageous leadership both upwards and downwards to drive the right level of productive tension and discussion on important topics.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in scientific or related discipline within 10+ of experience or MBA/Advanced degree with 7 years of experience

Experience in corporate strategy, business development, or strategic marketing roles or management consulting.

Proven ability to negotiate and influence others to adopt a different point of view.

Extensive experience with communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate difficult concepts to stakeholders

Travel - 25% minimum; 50% maximum

The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
