We are currently seeking a
Documentum/Captiva Developer for a long term REMOTE contracting position. Candidates must live in the United States. The Documentum Developer Captiva will support an Operations & Maintenance and Enhancements project to support a transit (Rail, Bus, Paratransit, etc.) customer on a high visibility program. Developer Responsibilities:- Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects;
- Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions;
- Interface with other offices, consult with and inform user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems and operating difficulties for current and future enhancements to WMATA's systems;
- Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review;
- Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of applications;
- Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures; and
- Work on the development of new systems, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar degree with 6+ years of experience building Documentum applications. High school diploma with an additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree;
- Experience creating, upgrading and migrating Documentum applications/repositories
- Experience with 20.4 platform and in-depth knowledge of content repository
- Experience delivering solutions using Documentum REST, WebTop, WDK, D2, DFS
- Experience configuring Documentum xPlore and ADTS
- Experience creating and installing TBOs via Composer
- Good understanding of Documentum object model and architecture
- Experience with LINUX/UNIX
- Experience with Oracle database and SQL
- Experience with JBOSS and TOMCAT application servers
- Experience developing Java applications
- Strong communication (written and oral), documentation skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of relational databases and experience working with SQL queries
- The passion and drive to expand coding skills
- Ability to work in a fast, paced environment and perform duties without immediate supervision.
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks to ensure project deadlines are met
- Proficiency with relevant programming languages, programming tools, and development platforms.

- Experience Captiva Dispatcher and Advanced Recognition development, version 6.x, 7.x, 16.x
- Experience in Captiva 6.x, 7.x, 16.x development using Captiva Designer, Advanced Recognition, .Net Code Module, Captiva Desktop
- Experience in the installation/administration of Captiva v6, v7, v16 software environments
- Experience Captiva Client Side-Scripting development in .Net, version 6.x, 7.x, 16.x
- Experience in Captiva 6.x, 7.x, 16.x integration with backend databases
- Master's degree in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior).
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or in a related discipline.
