Electrical Engineering Technician

Description: Work in a hands-on and team-oriented environment. Work closely with hardware and software engineers in our Engineering Labs on new or existing development programs of portable software defined radio products. Perform technician functions to include basic debug, assembly and test of circuit boards, cables, radios, batteries and radio accessories. Perform engineering lab support functions to include parts ordering, material stocking, equipment calibration, equipment assignment, and general lab maintenanceSkills:troubleshooting, circuit board, LabVIEW, automated scripts, Keysight VEETop Skills Details:troubleshooting, digital circuit board, RF circuit boardAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Fluent in English. Proficient with Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). High school diploma or equivalent required; ASEE or equivalent experience a plus. Knowledge of RF, Analog and Digital Design fundamentals is desirable. Able to read and understand circuit card documentation, including schematics, drawings, and bill of materials. Experience in removing and soldering surface mount components.Experience with prototyping a plus. Working knowledge of engineering lab test equipment and test methods for the development of electronic products and radios. Able to perform verification and validation testing in accordance with test plans; able to generate and update test plans and reports.
