Electronic Design and Analysis Engineer 6

Volt is immediately hiring for an

• Be able to debug and coordinate with production/procurement/manufacturing.
• Be able to work in Linux and Windows and communicate hardware needs for design verification tests to be created by the embedded software teams.
• Experience in automation of design verification or design analysis tasks.
• Experience in VHDL or using tools such as Xilinx Vivado for the purposes of hardware tests
• TCL and TTL Scripting.
• Experience in configuring ADC and DACs.
• Experience in hardware testing for 10Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express Gen 3, IEEE802.3 etc.
• Perform signal integrity analysis on DDR4 links and SERDES links.
• Perform design verification testing on PCBs designed for DDR4 and SERDES links.
• Familiar with VITA 46, VITA 62, and other Open VPX specs related to backplanes and plug-in modules.
• Familiar with version control tools, ability to draw architecture diagrams both physical and functional.

• A Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering and have a strong background in basic circuit analysis, microelectronic circuits (transistor operation and analog design), and preferably coursework in digital circuit design. High initiative, attention to detail, and good debug skills required.
