Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking an

Engineering Technical-Integration SME to assist their teams with the deployment of new solutions as well as 3rd party software solutions to retail clients around the world. This is a contract role that is 100% remote! This is one of the most important technical roles within Professional Services, you will help the organization lead state-of-the-art solutions for the Retail and Financial industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Install equipment within all areas of the company, customer facilities, and testing labs
  • Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions of integration systems
  • Perform QA checks on all equipment before and after deployment
  • Identify/troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Deploy software based on project scope; display consistent quality, follow company guidelines, and update project documentation
  • Efficiently manage task queue

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) or software experience (C#, .NET)
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SCCM/IBM BigFix
  • Expertise in Windows deployment, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of Windows imaging technologies (WinPE, WIM imaging, or similar)
  • Understanding of internet standards (e.g., HTTPS, DHCP, DNS, SFTP, HTML, XML) and IP communications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Work Status: due to government requirements, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
  • Clearance Type: ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
  • COVID-19 vaccine: must be fully vaccinated
