Role: Enterprise Integration Architect Duration: 12+ months contract Location: Baltimore, MD- Remote Duties/Responsibilities:
- MDH is seeking a seasoned Senior Application Integration Architect to support the PMM application development work. The Enterprise Integration Architect's responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain Enterprise Integration Architecture guidelines and policies focusing on SOA concepts and capabilities
- Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns with PMM application webservice integration
- Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API, application integration and webservices
- Ensure adhere to documented application integration design and development guidelines, patterns, and standards
- Work closely with technical architects and developers to ensure consistency and quality of Application Integration solutions
- Support continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances
- Gather and understand business and technical requirements impacting PMM application integration
- Evaluate new solutions to support Enterprise Application Integration guidelines, policies, and practices
- Collaborate and participate on Governance Boards to review application integration changes and architectural decisions impacting integration policies and guidelines
- Analyse, review and recommend solutions to expand Enterprise Application Integration objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
- General Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems.
- Must have led or been chief architect in a major IT applications implementation effort.
- At least 6 years of experience in designing medium to large-scale sites and management of at least five Internet projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen
- Ability to compile and organize information and present findings to management
- Confident in decision making and the ability to explain technical processes or choices as needed
- Excellent multitasking skills and task management
- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Outstanding problem solver
- At least 10 Years of experience working with Spring Framework, Java, Spring Boot, CXF and Web Services
- Experience with Object-Oriented programming
- Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Experience with Cloud based application integration options
- Experience with CI/CD principles
- Strong working experience with Publish-Subscribe EMS and SOAP/RESTful web services
- Strong working experience with File, JMS/EMS, SOAP, Service, Policy and WSDL
- Experience with SDLC or agile methodologies
- Experience with Healthcare domain
- Experience with Provider Data
