Entry Level Laboratory Technician

Piper Companies is actively recruiting for several Laboratory Technician roles to gain hands-on experience with ELISA testing, cell cultures, and Good Manufacturing practices (GMP). This is an ideal role for recent science graduates who are looking to get their first job in the industry with an incredible biotechnology research organization in the Baltimore, MD area.

• Quality Control (QC) testing to support the organization's products
• Performing ELISA assays, PCR testing, cell cultures, and other laboratory tests
• Precisely pipetting small sample volumes utilizing a pipet
• Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assists in implementing and developing updated SOP guidelines
• Performs various statistical analyses, utilizing programs such as SPSS and SAS
• Updates and maintains records in the data system
• Performs routine laboratory maintenance

• 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Bachelors of Science Degree (BS) in a related field is required

• Salary Range: up to $17/hr, Based on relevant experience
