Environmental Planner - Transportation

AECOM's Transportation group has a position available for an Environmental Planner in Hunt Valley, MD.  This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days in the office.The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:Assists with writing and updating (NEPA) National Environmental Policy Act documents, planning studies, transportation plans, permit packages and environmental and socioeconomic technical reports.Coordinates with community groups, government agencies, and internal/external clients.Conducts extensive and varied field and office research in specific or general project areas and uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other software packages to present results.Writes and presents formal and technical reports, working papers and correspondence.
