Description We are seeking a File Clerk, Records Management Specialist to join our team in the Local Government industry, located in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional records management, medical records, scanning, labeling, creating labels and distributing incoming mail with maintaining accurate records. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Respond to and handle inbound calls in a timely and professional manner. Provide excellent customer service to callers by addressing their needs and inquiries. Enter and update customer data in the system accurately. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the call center. Utilize your skills in Data Entry and Call Center Customer Service to enhance customer satisfaction. Resolve customer inquiries through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ensure all transactions and calls are conducted in compliance with local government regulations and policies. Keep up-to-date on all call center procedures and services to provide accurate information to customers. Assist in other tasks and projects as assigned by the management.Requirements Previous experience in a call center role for at least one year is necessary. Proficiency in data entry and the ability to quickly input information accurately. Strong customer service skills, with a proven track record in a call center environment. Knowledge of inbound call center operations, including handling high call volumes. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints professionally. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Knowledge of local government processes and procedures would be beneficial. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Further education in a relevant field would be beneficial. Proficiency in using computer systems and software commonly used in call centers. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Bilingual or multilingual skills would be beneficial but are not necessary. Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
