AECOM's water business line is seeking a creative, motivated, and highly skilled GIS Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Water Utilities and CAD. This role will support our engineering, modeling, and inspection teams. Join a team of experienced technology solution experts to create innovative solutions applying new and emerging technology to water utilities. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Create, edit, and maintain spatial and attribute data under direct supervision.Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for geospatial data using established concepts, practices, and procedures.Use ArcGIS Pro and the Esri suite for data manipulation and geospatial analysis.Assist in developing web applications in ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online (AGOL).Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure data accuracy.Develop solutions of limited scope and complexity using Python, R, SQL, and Arcade.Build analytics tools to provide actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and track key performance metrics.Create custom tools and widgets for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.Collaborate with stakeholders to address data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.Support the migration of Water Geometric Networks to the Esri Utility Network.Maintain quality assurance of spatial and non-spatial data and processes as per defined standards.Maintain strong knowledge in existing and emerging GIS related software and technologies.
