OVERVIEWThe Graphic Designer for the Behavioral Health Services Information Systems will work collaboratively with BHSIS team members to ensure established quality and editorial standards are met for BHSIS contract document deliverables and other documents generated by the BHSIS contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience reviewing, editing, and remediating document and web content for both client and internal deliverables.

DUTIES
  • Produce high quality Adobe InDesign Documents (508 compliance preferred)
  • Ensure editorial quality of document deliverables, including compliance with contract requirements and internal and client standards
  • Review materials for content, clarity, accuracy, relevance, consistency, grammar, format, organization, and ensure standards are maintained
  • Provide quality assurance for document deliverables, website, other electronic content, and printed materials generated by the BHSIS contract
  • Provide support to high priority and critical items from BHSIS client
  • Assist with development and review of required reports as needed
  • Assist with proposal development and support for other corporate projects as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 7 years' experience commensurate with assigned duties
  • Knowledge of and experience applying Federal plain language guidelines
  • Experience using variety of editing and compliance software
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign (3+)
  • Familiarity with Axaio a plus
  • Data analysis experience a plus
  • Tableau experience a plus
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to adopt and apply client-specific style guides while editing content
  • Excellent proofreading, editing, and writing skills
  • Ability to prioritize own work to reflect business needs
  • Ability to work under own initiative, taking responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of own and others' output
  • Excellent work organization, administration, and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understands the need to tailor information to customers' requirements
