High School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – AAC & Life-Skills Are you passionate about AAC implementation and supporting high school students? Join us at AnthroMed! Location : Union Bridge, Maryland Anticipated Caseload: 15-20 students total Type of Position: Full-time in a high school About the role:

Collaborate with all key stakeholders regarding functional communication and life skills.

The students are in an LFI (Learning for Independence) classroom which will necessitate the implementation of AAC and collaboration with other disciplines regarding AAC.

Implement differing service delivery models, especially push-in whole-group therapy.

Completes all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.

Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services.

Provides accommodations in the classroom including visual aids or supports, or augmentative communication systems.

Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.

Participates in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.

Completes relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.

Qualifications :

School-based and/or pediatric experience.

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Valid MD SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
