Description If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an engaging, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. This role will involve various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.Major responsibilities

Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews

Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite

Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters

Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department

Collaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendors

Develop a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections

Evaluate employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)

Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures

Employee relations, involving engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations

Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations

Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook

Collaborate with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees Requirements - Prior experience coordinating and implementing Open Enrollment is a plus

Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Prior HR Generalist experience

B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis

Strong understanding local, state and federal laws

This position will be best given to someone who is highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity

Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms

Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks

Excellent written and verbal business skills

Prior full cycle recruiting experience
