Description Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor network management system and engage telecom providers for restoration efforts.

Keep incident details frequently updated with accurate information in the incident management tool.

Solve systems and network issues of limited scope and complexity.

Oversee high availability IP networks, messaging systems, and Air to Ground data communications equipment and systems.

Resolve routine technical queries from customers and Business Units.

Work alongside Senior Team Members to address moderate to complex issues with critical customer services; may lead in resolving less complex issues.

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, resolve or escalate network issues.

Work on the deployment, configuration, and maintenance routines; develop tools for process efficiency.

Participate in designing and configuring network solutions.

Provide customers with guidance to solve problems.

Flexibility in terms of job duties, which may vary.

Work some weekends and holidays, as this is a 24/7/365 Operation Center.

This position requires a DAY Shift (7 AM-3:30 PM EST).

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Network+ Certification.

Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols and understanding of computer hardware and software interconnection.

Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM concepts and practices.

Experience troubleshooting Cisco devices and with HSRP/BGP routing protocols.

AA/AS degree or other 2-year post-high school training with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or a HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

CCNA Certification.

Knowledge of Remedy, Netcool, Office 0365, ServiceNow.

Strong customer service skills.
