This is a contract to hire position with our key engineering client. In this role, you will be responsible monitor and control operations and processes. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an B.S. Degree along with 3-5+ years of relevant work experience.Instrumentation and Controls Technician Responsibilities:
Investigating field conditions and equipment.
Discussing SCADA-related issues with owner personnel.
Gaining understanding of the software and applications configurations.
Organizing records, files, drawings, O&Ms, SOPs, maintenance records, purchase orders/service agreements with SCADA related vendors, etc.
Documenting missing information about the SCADA system and its operation and maintenance.
Coordinating with process and electrical engineers from your group.
Prioritizing a list of required actions to bring the SCADA system to its desired state.
Develop a detailed plan to provide short- and long-term solutions to the plant's SCADA issues
Instrumentation and Controls Technician Requirements:
Water and/or wastewater experience (preferable)
At least 3-5 years experience; more experience is preferable
Knowledge of ABB preferable
