PURPOSE:We are seeking an experienced, high energy, driven, servant leader to lead our IT Business Planning Team. The Manager, IT Business Planning will focus on leading the financial optimization of the enterprise IT organization. This leadership role is expected to be proficient in financial management, cloud financial processes & analysis, benchmarking, and KPI development and tracking.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manages a team responsible for interfacing with the operations, application, infrastructure and other teams to ensure processes support the business needs and/or achieve service level agreements.
  • Responsible for defining and implementing process metrics that drive measure and quantify performance and compliance. Applies technical knowledge of operations, quality, and validation for process improvement. Identifies opportunities to utilize automation in an effective way creating cost savings for the organization.
  • Lead continual service improvement and ongoing process maturity through regular reviews of the process and tools, trend analysis and metrics reporting and through regular engagement with stakeholders. Ensures continuous improvement in cost, quality, and process throughout the organization. Evaluates effectiveness of proposed processes to ensure optimal efficiency from an engineering perspective.
  • Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, lead a small team of business analysts focused on IT financial optimization.
  • Responsible for leading IT financial cadence needed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis in support of the CIO.
  • Manage Finance deliverables to ensure compliance with Finance time and content requirements
  • Act as primary interface between IT and Finance.
  • Lead annual budget planning with cost center managers and conduct year of year analysis.
  • Build and communicate financial presentations to VP, CIO, CFO
  • Work with 3rd party to conduct annual benchmarking exercises of IT organization, and present findings to IT leadership team.
  • Lead the development and management of cloud cost analysis and optimization.
  • Lead the development and implementation of IT Cost Chargebacks/Showbacks to the business unit with appropriate metrics.
  • Lead the development of “IT as a business KPIs” in collaboration with the Director of Operational Excellence.
  • Enable meeting goals and expectations; gather information, frame problems, devise/execute plans, track progress, adjust plans and demonstrate outcomes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position manages people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.In lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of educationan additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience:
  • 5 years Related professional experience
  • 1 year Supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Proven interpersonal skills that enable collaboration and communication with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep knowledge of FP&A and Accounting Processes
  • Experience in cloud chargebacks/showbacks.
  • Experience leading cloud financial optimization
  • Ability to analyze complex operational tasks.
  • Ability to develop work flow processes for business and functional areas.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-departmental teams.
  • Knowledge of Process development methods, techniques and tools.
  • Ability to motivate others and foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile execution.
  • Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
