Job Description The Junior Software Engineer works closely with peers within a specific product domain team to develop and maintain SaaS web applications within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process. They are responsible for planning, scoping, building, and testing assigned development tasks and bug fixes, while maintaining high code quality standards. Essential Functions
Work with mentors to produce well-designed, maintainable code that adheres to SOLID software design principles
Adhere to software development processes and participate in discussions to enhance and optimize development operations
Implement code that follows architecture design and implementation plans agreed upon with technical lead and software architect
Gain thorough understanding of systems and core business functions in order to provide informed suggestions and solutions
Participate in code reviews and be comfortable sharing code with other members of the team
Advocate and demonstrate use of industry best-practices, high-quality code, and compliance with department development processes
Proactively communicate delays or unforeseen problems that will delay assigned tasks
Create, update, and maintain system documentation
Utilize TypeScript to upgrade, develop, and maintain web application interfaces
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of OOP concepts
General understanding of HTTP API services
Familiarity with relational database technologies such as MSSQL and MySQL
Preferred Skills/Experience
Previous Internship or work experience as a software developer
.NET background, particularly in large web-based and service-oriented applications
Experience with Vue.js, Angular, React or other JavaScript frameworks
Experience building software from the ground up and all phases of the SDLC successfully: based on client satisfaction and software performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility
Experience designing and developing event-driven applications or frameworks
Adept troubleshooting and debugging techniques to quickly identify incorrect code

The salary range for this position is $56,500 - $106,800. The maximum range shown represents your earning potential with DealerOn for the life time of the role.
