This opening will support the contracts at the Social Security Administration.The candidate will be collocated with the SSA government employees and subcontractors at a government facility in Baltimore, Maryland.Find your "Why" with us!Every position we take is more rewarding when you know the why behind it. We are excited for you to take your place in our Leidos Family.The candidate will assist SSA with administering Endevor application to support the version control of applications in the development and validation environments. The candidate will create, maintain, and delete subsystems, troubleshoot user issues with the Endevor product, analyze new versions for upgrade compatibility, maintain types and libraries, utilize z/OS utilities, and collaborate with application projects and other administrators.Skills Requirements:
  • Basic experience with the IBM z/OS utilities; ISPF, SDSF, JCL, VSAM and the ability to learn theadministration of Endevor.
  • Basic experience coding and supporting applications written in any computer language and the ability to learn mainframe-computing languages.
  • Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting with developers/users.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively with customers, team members and management.
Desired Skills:
  • Administration of Endevor including creating new systems, subsystems, types, Elibs, DDIO libraries, Endevor related Top Secret profiles.
  • MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of SAS, REXX, CLIST, COBOL; CICS; batch processing; mainframe debugging tools like CA/Broadcom's INTERTEST; Compuware's XPEDITER, ABEND-AID.

Education:
  • Leidos - Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 4 years of experience.
  • Subcontractor - 1 year experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
