This position is contingent upon contract awardLocation: Rockville, MD / DMV area (specific location based on site/client office)We are seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Structural Inspection Quality Control (SIQC) Engineer to assist in the quality control and review of structural inspections performed by inspection teams. This role involves reviewing inspection reports, supporting field inspection activities, and ensuring the overall quality and consistency of the structural inspection program.Job Description:Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of structural inspection manuals, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with established guidelines.Conduct quality control reviews of inspection reports, observe and assess field inspections, and perform post-inspection quality control activities.Serve as a technical resource by providing guidance on inspection best practices to inspection personnel.Support the development and implementation of improvements to quality control and inspection processes.Generate reports based on inspection findings to assist the Program Director, maintenance, and engineering teams in prioritizing maintenance and renewal efforts.Perform other duties as assigned to support accurate and reliable inspection documentation
